PARENT PRAYER GROUP

      Come one, come all.....parents, that is.  You are invited to join a group of moms and dads every Friday morning, from 8:30 - 8:50am in Conference Room A for 25 minutes of praying for our children.  We end just before 9:00am Mass begins and then head over to the Church to celebrate with a School Mass.

      This prayer group offers parents an opportunity to come together to support one another as we journey together on the awesome path of being mothers and fathers.  We spend time praying about the following:

• Becoming a Praying Parent

• Releasing our children into God's hands

• Attracting Godly friends and Role Models

• Feeling Loved and Accepted

• Securing Protection from Harm

• Honoring Parents and Resisting Rebellion

• Maintaining Good Family Relationships

• Developing a Hunger for the things of God

• Being the Person God Created

• Following Truth and Rejecting Lies

• Enjoying a Life of Health and Healing

• Having the Motivation for Proper Body Care

• Instilling the Desire to Learn

• Identifying God-Given Gifts and Talents

• Learning to Speak Life

• Staying Attracted to Holiness and Purity

• Praying through a Child's Room

• Enjoying Freedom from Fear

• Avoiding Alcohol, Drugs, and other Addictions

• Seeking Wisdom and Discernment

• Growing in Faith

    By releasing our children into the hands of God, we partner with the power of His Holy Spirit in raising our children to walk in faith. 

  The world offers so many distractions and destructive temptations to us and to our children.  Prayer gives us the courage to stand strong on God's truth, reject the lies of the enemy, and find the support of our faith community in establishing our homes and families as Christ centered.
