St. Mary Parish also offers preparation programs for the beautiful sacraments of Baptism and Marriage. Our Baptismal Preparation Program is for parents who wish to pass their faith onto their young child. Baptism is the external sign celebrating the entrance of a person into the total Christian Community as well as into St. Mary Parish family. The Marriage Preparation Program is for engaged couples wishing to receive the sacrament of marriage. In this sacrament of matrimony the couple is promised that God’s love will be effective in their reciprocal love for one another. Because our faith tradition views marriage in this light, it is of the utmost importance that couples that plan to enter into this permanent bond be adequately prepared.

In order for all these Faith Formation programs to be successful we need to have catechists, classroom aides, and other volunteers. Please take this to prayer and see if God is calling you to share your time and talent in these areas.
